We visited Bryce Canyon National Park this past September and spent one full day in the park camping, hiking, and finding the best view for sunset.

Morning: We arrived at the Visitor Center to grab a patch (we collect them from every park). If you are going to camp in the backcountry, grab your permit here. We drove across the street to North Campground and found out from the board that is self check in, so we drove around and found a spot that we liked, claimed our site (by filling out the form), paid, and dropped it in the box. We did some research and went to our first hike on the Navajo Loop (the most popular hike).

Noon: After the Navajo Loop, you can stop for a quick lunch at the General Store (they have pizza, breakfast sandwiches, and convenience store food) or for something fancier, stop at The Lodge at Bryce Canyon.

Afternoon: We spent the afternoon hiking Peekaboo Loop Trail (5.5 miles). You could add another hike in here if you have time, such as part of The Rim Trail or Hat Shop. We picked Peekaboo as we heard it was stunning, and it did not disappoint.

Evening: We went to Sunset Point for sunset. We made dinner at our campground and had a fire with drinks that we bought from the General Store earlier. The Lodge would be another good option for dinner if you do not have food with you, as the general store closes early.

The Next Day: We woke up early for sunset and arrived at Sunset Point (we liked the view better here than Sunrise Point). Afterward, we stopped at the General Store for coffee and to take showers (this is where they are located in the park).
